Orange Essential Oil: Crazy Healing Properties!
One of my favorite essential oils is orange oil. I love the citrusy scent – it’s simply a clean and fresh smell.
You know, while I love the smell of this oil, I cannot tolerate orange juice. Simply too acidic for my tender stomach.
If you’ve read my page, “About Leslie”, you already know that I have to maintain a gluten-free diet. Wheat had caused me severe intestinal inflammation and tremendous pain along with it.
One of the essential oils I use to assist with inflammation (I have many other allergies which cause inflammation) is orange oil.
Here are 2 of the ways I’ve used it:
- Massage into the skin
Friends of mine who use essential oils (the ‘oilers’ – LOL), have told me they’ve put the oil in a diffuser, in a compress or in the bathwater.
Orange oil is only one of the oils I use for inflammation. I’ll discuss the others in separate blog posts, to be sure.
There are many other uses for orange oil. Stay tuned for more info!
So, there are various ways to use the oils. Remember, they are very concentrated and a little goes a long way. These are not fragrance oils. While highly respected health professionals recommend the use of essential oils, it’s always recommended that you check with your own personal physician before you use them.
