Leave Your Baggage at the Train Station
Leave your baggage at the train station.
When changes happen in our lives such as job loss, death of a loved one, unplanned pregnancy, illness, etc., it can cause us to lose hope.
Have you ever found yourself looping that negative event over and over in your mind?
When an uncle passed suddenly at the age of 35, I simply could not comprehend it. How could I make sense of this loss?
Three weeks later, my uncle’s father suddenly passed away.
I think it was the very first time I felt afraid of the unknown.
Have tragic events caused you to feel as if your life is spiraling out of control? Is your stress level completely out of whack?
How do you move beyond looping these events over and over in your head?
The Lord provides healing but we have to give Him our baggage. So, now instead of continually playing this event over and over in our heads, we have to hand it over to Him.
He’s more than capable of handling it.
You see, when you turn over your grief or sorrow over to the Lord, an incredible weight is lifted from you.
Trust in the One who truly loves you. Leave your baggage at the train station. He can more than carry it.
